- their voting record on our members’ legislative priorities
- their unabashed support of a strong state budget so that our members can bargain and win strong contracts
- their willingness to show up for our members outside of the legislature
- their commitment to ensure that our members have a seat at the table
We use these scores to create our Legislative Scorecard and to sort legislators into these 5 categories:
Champions have a 100% voting record on our legislative priorities AND truly went above and beyond for our members by working directly with our union to pass pro-labor policies, defend against anti-labor policies, stand in solidarity with members during bargaining and organizing actions, and support a strong state budget for working families.
